Use Revision Receipts to support human review of writing changes. Do not use it as proof of learning, authorship, academic integrity, or writing quality.

Using the service

Revision Receipts is a free, local-first classroom utility. You may use it for lawful educational purposes. Do not use it to violate another person’s privacy, copyright, school policy, or applicable law, or to introduce malicious content.

What the comparison means

The tool identifies textual differences between two drafts and lets a student connect a changed passage to a feedback goal. A textual change is not proof that feedback caused the change, that the work is original, or that learning occurred. Teachers remain responsible for review and judgment.

No grading or writing generation

The service does not generate prose, detect plagiarism, determine authorship, grade work, or assign a hidden score. It should not be used as the sole basis for a grade, disciplinary action, or other high-impact educational decision.

Your content

You retain rights to content you enter. The service does not receive or claim ownership of it. You are responsible for having permission to use the text and for storing, sharing, and deleting exported receipts appropriately.

Availability and warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Keep copies of important drafts elsewhere; local browser data may be cleared by browser settings, device policies, or storage limits.

Changes and contact
